Spring Training: Major League Invitation

 

Last year (first season in Triple-A): finished 1st on the team in average (.281), hits (118), runs (52) and doubles (30), 2nd in games (109), RBI (51) and extrabase hits (40) and 4th in walks (35).

 

Numbers dropped last year (compared to ’07)… .281 avg (down 53 points), 7 HR (down 4), 51 RBI (down 25), 35 walks (down 18), 67 stikeouts (up 11).

 

2007 Eastern League MVP… batted .333, 11 HR, 76 RBI in 127 games with Akron

 

2006 Topps Carolina League Player of Year… batted .290, 15 HR, 87 RBI in 125 games with Kinston
