Brown likely to miss Opening Day
Jordan Brown, the reigning International League batting champ, tore a meniscus in his right knee during outfield drills Friday and will have arthroscopic surgery this week in Cleveland.
Brown, likely to headline the 2010 Clippers roster, will almost assuredly miss Opening Day on April 8th.
Veteran pitcher Jason Grilli is headed for season-ending surgery on his torn right quadriceps.

Very unfortunate for Jordan. He’s had a history if injury issues, and (it’s not just my opinion due to the number of interviews I listened to found by mp3 search ) this one is coming at a point where it may ultimately end up costing him any future with this organization.
He’s truly one of the best hitters in this entire organization. Not too many people dount that he’s a guy that if given consistent at bats in the majors would be a 300/20/90 type producer.’
He’s lacked a position in the field that he can play effectively, and good health. Was hoping he would get the opportunity this spring and land a regular spot with the big squad. Hopefully it’s not that big of a setback and sooner or later we shall see him in a good shape.
